Thank you so much for keeping Johnny Mathis' The 12th of Never on your 50's site. i've written before how this was "our" song and anniversary #50 is less than 4 months away.It has been a hard journey at times and doesn't seem to be getting any easier with both of us having health problems but hopefully we'll be here to again listen to "our" song and remember our December 1960 wedding= 50 yrs. ago.

i'am 36yrs old, but i too grew up listening to this music. we are setting up a sweet16 b-day party for my first daughter and she will be dancing to "16candles" with her dad. i want my children to appreciate real music, just like i did when i was a teenager and still do.

i wish i had appreciated the 50's back then. i sure do miss them. I graduated in 1954 married in 1955 had my first child in 1956 my second in 1958 and my third in1959.
