I was nine when I first heard Elvis. I cried with excitement. I was thirty, with three young kids, when he left us... I cried like a nine year old... with a deep sense of loss in my heart for myself.. for the world... to lose so much. Elvis came to us and shared with us... his God-given talent... he gave it all so freely... to the point that HE was no longer free... but... in God's Heaven.. he is now free... and singing with the Angels. We still enjoy all that he left for us... but I hope he knows how much HE is missed. I am so glad Elvis was and remains a part of my life. God bless him.

Good morning my dear friend. Just came from looking at all your pages on the mail out and loved the one on the old barn. We have quite a few of those on the farm which now stores machinery, crops for the Winter and one made into a shop to work on the tractors and machinery. Old barns are very fascinating and love seeing pictures of them and wondering what the history of each one is. The one that is a shop now was once where the cows were and Ed and his mom would milk them by hand and yes the cats would wait for a squirt of milk. He was quite small then but learned quick to help out and it had to be done before he went to school each day. Farm life is a hard life but a good one as you always have food on the table, clothes on your back and a roof over your head. We may not have the luxuries of some but we have lots of love that I do know. God bless and have a great day. Hugs Judy

I remember seeing the king on the Ed Sullivan show. He changed the world and the music. He was surely the best of them all. I never had the opportunity too see him, I wish I had.

A friend of mine sent me this site to listen to. It brings back a lot of memories from my chidhood years. Growing up in the 60's was cool cause we had the benifit of listening to the great songs of the 50's as well as the new songs playing at the time. Many of the songs here bring back memories of my first boy/girl party I went to and the first dances I ever had with a girl. WOW! Thanks for the great memories.
