In May 1949 a new program debuted on WSM the first Friday of each month. Wally Fowler's "All Night Gospel Sing". Ginny (Patsy Cline) loved gospel music, having grown up on everything from the good old tunes from the Baptist hymnal to the rocking, rolling songs which the Pentecostals were famous. Once Fowler met Patsy he could smell a discovery in the making. He gave the command: She would perform. She absolutely capivated them. She went off stage with a thunderous applause and had to come back to take a bow. ~Source "Patsy: the life and times of Patsy Cline" By Margaret Jones
